Let's see... Hardening spell meant for one target gets misfired and hits two targets. No good can come from this. Although it could turn out to be awesome.

It's not a hardening spell. roll back a few pages and you'll see a troll explaining it's a merge spell, which they used with stones to petrify the intruders.

so, you can guess where this is headed (maybe even double-headed hehe)
