Wrapping things up
This week marks the finale of "The Deer Witch Project," a story that has been going on since, dang, has really been since May? Seven months, that's something.
Had it not been for delays, this story would have been completed a month ago. Oh well, real life is unsympathetic to plans.
In any case, we hope you've enjoyed what has been our longest story arc so far. We probably won't try one this long again for a while.
Next week begins a more light-hearted guest-drawn story. Hope you like it!
Oh, one final note. I'll be reordering the comic strips so that "The Wall" story and the recent filler art comes after the end of "Deer Witch," that way there's no interruption of the story in the archives.

Should be back on track for next Tuesday
I feel bad about having two weeks of filler right in the middle of the finale.
In any case, the comic will resume Oct. 20 and should run uninterrupted throughout the rest of the story. The next story should run uninterrupted as well. Thanks for hanging in there.

Forgot to post filler
Sorry guys, I was going to run filler art this week, but I forgot to post the first one today. Will just run it Wednesday-Friday instead. :)

How's about a dead-tree edtion?
We're currently kicking around the idea of a print version of the comic, collecting the past strips like newspaper comics do. Have any ideas about what you'd like to see included in a collection?

Just Keeps Plugging Along
No real news to report here, August came and went with the introduction (and defeat) of the notorious Fox brothers (and sister). We're moving closer to the final conflict, and perhaps a few more questions will be answered. Or not.
P.S. I saw on the news today that Disney is planning on buying Marvel Comics. *shudder* I can just picture the horrific team-ups. Spider-Man and Mickey Mouse. The Punisher and Goofy. Deadpool and Donald Duck. Come on, you know they'll do it. Look at all the weird stuff Warner Bros. has pulled ever since it got its hands on DC Comics.

"Deer Witch" takes a holiday...
Dear loyal readers,
Starting next week, "The Deer Witch Project" will be going on a brief hiatus for two weeks. During that period, we'll run a filler story with guest artist Nicole Riley. It'll be a fun diversion, but still canon so that's cool, right?
"Deer Witch" will resume Aug. 11. Appreciate everyone's patience.
