Thanksgiving joy!
Hello loyal readers and other people who stumbled on this site by mistake...
Today is Thanksgiving! I'm thankful for our comic hitting 400 strips this week (yay!) family, food, God and football. :)
"Games Monsters Play" should roll through early January, after which we'll finally be onto a new story! Oh, not to mention the super duper top secret story our group is working on. ;)
So, as we move into the Christmas season, hopefully you all have nice holidays.

Let's Ring In September!
Dear loyal readers and also people who got on the internet and ended up here for some reason,
"At Arm's Length" celebrated it's third anniversary in August. And by celebrate, I mean I mentioned it after the fact, because even I forgot about it. My bad. :P
A head's up: "Games Monsters Play" will be our longest arc thus far, running past the end of the year. After this, we won't be tackling such a long narrative again for quite some time, and will stick with shorter, tightly paced stories.
Future stories will help fill in more details, including the origin of the Enchanter race and more about the girls' enemies. Plus, look for some fun stuff as well. :)

Greetings from vacation land
Hello loyal readers and confused webscanners who stumbled on this site by accident,
I'm out on vacation for the next week. Yay for me. In the meanwhile, the comic should continue to update in my absence due to the efforts of the hardworking letterer, Cubist. Thank him for continued weirdness.

Ted Turner must have gotten his hands on our comic
For those of you who don't get this message's title, I have just severely dated myself.
In any case, I bring you good news. Starting today, "At Arm's Length" is now in color. Sweet, wonderful color. I've been debating the idea for a time, weighing the pros and cons, and I decided that our new story "Games Monsters Play" is the ideal starting point for this new process.
I'm not promising any miracles here. Color is gonna be basic for a while, hopefully I can get better at it as we go along.
Also, this story is gonna be a long one. I hope you have an iron constitution, because you're gonna need it. :P Seriously though, I was shooting for a more epic-length story, so I'm hoping it gets carried as such. Enjoy!

Hope you're enjoying the crossover with "The End of Things"'s Evan Li! This current storyline will run through the end of the month, afterward we start up an epic-length story featuring the girls, some old friends and some new ones as well. Hope you look forward to it!

Happy 300th strip
Dang, it's been a while since I've used this. Well, what's new? Mostly, our 300th comic strip! Yay! How did this happen? With steely determination, that's how! :)
Hope you've all been enjoying the story so far. We have some neat stories coming up in the future, so rock on on that. :) I'll keep in touch with you if anything new develops. Until then... klaatu barad nickto.

Hope you're having a nice February. Of course, tomorrow marks one of the most important dates in U.S. history.
I'm talking of course about the 100th anniversary of the U.S. Army arsenal adopting the Colt 1911! Woo-hoo, .45 automatic wonderfulness!
